The program of ISOM-XXIV symposium includes a free guided tour of UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage site Bryggen, which is located at about 12 min walk from the conference venue. The tour consist of a relaxing walk through the wooden buildings while accompanied by a professional guide that will explain history and curiosities about Bryggen and of Bergen’s city center. The tour starts and ends at the conference venue and lasts ca. 75 min.
Participation is free of charge for anyone registered to the conference (including accompanying person).
The conference banquet will take place in the exclusive Skyscraperen restaurant: at 643m above sea level, on the top of mount Ulriken! The newly renovated cable car will take us to the restaurant where we’ll enjoy great food while surrounded by the late sunset over the fjords.
Barbecue
Monday evening, after the Guided Tour of Bryggen and the Student-Industry Networking session, we will relax with an informal & tasty barbecue at the Grand Hotel Terminus terrace right outside Terminus Hall and the coffee & poster area.
